How would you describe your time at City and County of Denver/ ...?
Currently work for the City of Denver for the Chief Information Officer. Main areas of expertise is large scale projects and developing technology strategies for emerging government requirements. I have worked and continue to work on high profile technology projects, often with political elements both national and international. Specifically I have planned, implemented and managed the technology systems for The Summit of the Eight, The Denver Papal Visit, Denver's 311 City services system, a large VOIP rollout using Cisco, the Colorado Convention Center and many more.
I continue to be the liaison to the Denver Election Commission for reform of Denver County's technology architecture and operational systems. Provided input on the response to the RFP for the Democratic National Convention bid.
I have great relationships with members of the past, current and future administrations in Colorado.
I am mostly interested in technology and business resources, but am always interested in hearing about interesting opportunities. Although currently working in the "Public Sector" most of my career has been within the "Private Sector".
