What kind of job are you looking for?

I am a PhD research scientist with experience in mammalian reproduction and human infectious disease. I am familiar with Good Laboratory Practice and pre-clinical therapy development. However, I am intensely interested in clinical research and for 3 years I have interned as a clinical trial coordinator at a busy academic vaccine clinical trial site. I co-managed 7 studies and I have experience in protocol development, ethics board applications, budget development and negotiation, informed consent development and collection, subject recruitment and enrollment, source document development, other study-specific document development, and monitoring. I feel my strong scientific background allows me to critically evaluate clinical research with respect to scientific validity. I also have experience in Good Clinical Practice (ICH), Code of Federal Regulations and clinical research ethics. I am extremely well-organized and articulate in both written and oral communication. I am looking for a position in either clinical trial management, protocol support or clinical trial monitoring.... read more
