How would you describe your time at Seattle Times?
I provided support to the New Media sales department and recruitment solutions division. I was responsible for recruitment advertising invoicing and general contract maintenance. I was also accountable for the implementation of banner campaigns and online classifieds. I set up new client accounts as well as existing contract renewals. I was responsible in the daily resolution of troubleshooting solutions for employer and job seeker inquiries. I also tracked monthly revenue reporting. I also contributed extensively in team communication efforts involving clients, peers, and supervisors to create more efficient work flows for overall client advertising service needs. I interacted daily with the sales team, engineers, technicians and new media staff to insure integrity and quality of online advertising as well as revenue-generating products / services. I communicated consistantly with external vendors and suppliers to ensure quality operation....

I supported marketing efforts by tracking sales leads, coordinate mailings, and collected on-line lead opportunities for the academic sector. I organized product collateral material and fulfilled specified trial software and brochure requests for each account representative in the government, pharmaceutical, financial, and academic industries. Consistently performed a follow-up on demonstration requests and student downloads. Compiled and distribute marketing materials to other company offices, seminars, conferences, and tradeshows. I assembled and posted press release information online. I posted new policies and employee handbook updates for the company newsletter and human resource intranet.
