I loved attending the University of Washington. So often you hear people decry the volume of students registered in a single class, and in the smallest sense that was true at the UW. Although, the larger volume classes were for the 100 level courses. The more granular one got in their studies the smaller classes the became. Even so; large or small, on the whole the professors at the UW were excellent. Each on an active participant in their discipline. I used the freedom of the communications major to study all sorts of subjects: Psychology, Neurophysiology, Anthropology, Philosophy. Each additional subject was part and parcel to the 'New Media Technology' sub-genre of my communications major. It focused on human behaviors and interactions with technology. To this day, I am fascinated by the way people confront their digital media and devices. I hope someday to further human interaction/experience with strong design and sophisticated simplicity....
