Working at the Hamilton County Courthouse during high school was a very memorable experience for me. I was hired as a municipal courtroom clerk in the arraignment rooms and later worked in the trial rooms. The job allowed me to understand the trial process and allowed me to meet a wide variety of people in the legal field--lawyers, prosecuters, police officers, and judges. I was kept busy in the morning by preparing the docket for court and my afternoons were spent organizing the paperwork during court proceedings. This job set the foundation for my fascination with the legal field and has influenced my career path....
