Within the national fraternity, there exist local chapters at universities and colleges across the United States. At Kutztown, I served as the local chapter's publicist, where I wrote press releases about upcoming events as well as promoted and planned events that the chapter hosted.

I serve as a liason between the building directors of the office and the residents of our community. I serve as a mediator with roomate disagreements, administrative work with paperwork and filing of all the housing documents, as well as plan and assist in programs and events that are scheduled throughout the semester for the entire residence hall community at the university.... read more

How would you describe your time at kutztown university?

Throughout my educational experience at Kutztown, I have developed an interest in public relations and education. I served as public relations chair for several organizations on campus. I also volunteered in the admissions office, serving as a guide for prospective students and families. For the first three years of my time at Kutztown, I was active in Newsbreak, the on-campus television program that aired local and campus news throughout Berks County. I started volunteering in the control room as a teleprompter operator, then landed a role as head news anchor for 4 consecutive semesters. I currently am a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America on campus. I also have developed leadership skills as a member of the Housing & Residence Life office team working as a desk receptionist. Working with the other community assistance in the residence halls allowed me to help plan programs, events, and serve as a campus leader for the 1500 residents living in my hall.... read more
