What path did you take to your current career?

I studied fine art and graphic design (also known as commercial art back in the day). Most importantly, I'm a creative. However, I felt it was important to learn every aspect of marketing development. Not just design. I wanted to know where my clients were coming from. So I've toggled between both worlds (creative and strategy) over the years and became a much more knowledgeable creative director.
