Participated as the lead Techno/Functional team member for the PeopleSoft 8.9 project, responsible for functional and technical aspects of the upgrade from HRMS 8.3 to PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM 8.9 modules/products: Campus Solutions, Student Administration, Student Financials, Grants Management, Campus Community, Campus Faculty Management, and HRMS PeopleSoft products (Recruiting Solutions (Candidate Gateway, Talent Acquisition Manager), self service (ePay, eProfile, eLearning, eBenefits), Payroll, GL interface, and interfacing with external vendors, Federal and State agencies and other non-PeopleSoft JHU applications.
Extensive knowledge of the functional processes and underlying data structures (i.e. PeopleSoft Person Model). Other areas of knowledge includes SEVIS Interfacing, employee and Campus Self-Service, NA-Payroll Processing, Benefits processing, Absences management) and application configuration.

How would you describe your time at Northrop Grumman?

Participated as a one of the team leads for the PeopleSoft HCM 8.3 to 8.9 upgrade project. Responsible for functional and technical aspects of the upgrade from HRMS 8.3 to PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM 8.9 Solutions modules/products: Recruiting Solutions (Candidate Gateway, Talent Acquisition Manager), and interfacing with the clients external recruiting corporate applications. Other modules included (NA-Payroll, GL payroll interfacing, Manager, Recruiter and Employee Self Service and Benefits administration). Extensive knowledge of data structures and PeopleSoft Person Model, NA-Payoll Processing, Benefits processing, Absences management, Custom workflow design, and PeopleSoft HCM version 8.9 data structures and the HCM Recruiting Solutions applications configuration.
Technically I was also heavily involved in the re-application of Northrop Grumman's customizations to the new 8.9 application. This included custom approval work flows for the Job Openings, re-writing client custom 8.3 SQRs, Queries, Application engine programs to the new 8.9 table structures. Creating XML interface to the external recruiting application (Vurv/Recruitmax). Other actives involved validating NA-Payrolls pre go live (Pay sheets, Pay line, Earnings distributions, 401k interfaces and Benefits enrollments' processing. Tuning the 8.9 application at the SQL level.
