Crystal Report Writer
This position is responsible for the following areas:
Creating and maintaining corporate standards for uniformity of reports.
Creating high visibility Dashboards and Scorecards to track company progress and goals.
Training and mentoring crystal report writers within FBL Financial.
Reviewing and updating existing reports for efficiency and optimize performance.
Consulting on architecture of data warehouse and summary tables.
Creating report specifications, business requirements and documentation.
Business Objects Enterprise Administrator
This position is responsible for the following areas:
Consulting on testing and purchasing of new Business Objects products for FBL Financial.
Creating and maintaining ODBC connections on Enterprise reporting servers.
Creating and maintaining User Groups, Folders, Events, Schedules and Security.
Creating and maintaining Business Views and Universes.
Publishing Crystal reports and various other reports to Enterprise environment.
Creating Auditing reports for Enterprise environment stability, security and standards.
Monitoring Enterprise server performance and stability....

How would you describe your time at Wells Fargo?
Duties include preparing financial, staffing, network and adhoc reports for upper management. Creating and maintaining Access and SQL databases. Training and mentoring direct reports and other analysts within group. Automating existing reports by using Macros, SQL and Visual Basic to increase productivity. Analyze reports and data to consult upper management on cost effective measures to better support our clients and customers. Manage large projects and consult on implementation. Manage Customer Service incentive compensation for 1,000 employees. Compile data from many different data sources and upload to SQL server tables for data warehousing. Several projects included:
--Created a VB application which combines data from Avaya CMS Servers, Outlook attachments and excel reports and uploads the data to a SQL server every half hour. The server is linked to Wells Fargo's internal website, which publishes the data for use by Reps, Supervisors, and Managers.
--Created a VB report scheduler. The scheduler could be set for any time of day. The scheduler would extract the data from Oracle and SQL servers, calculate and compile reports, format the reports in Excel or PDF, send the reports to a distribution list or save the reports on Wells Fargo's web server.
--Created a VB application for SQL server data warehousing. The program can upload data to the tables, check the data and tables for errors, and is easily updateable when table structures and names are changed.
--Used Crystal Reports to create customized reporting for business units within Wells Fargo. The business unit's analyst used the reports for their daily reporting needs. Provided ongoing assistance to the business units, by answering technical crystal reports questions and creating new custom reports.
--Project manager for Wells Fargo Customer Service and Capacity Management XP Migration. Duties included testing applications, ordering equipment and converting access 97 databases to access 2000....
