Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

I was very fortunate to have met someone who earlier in life had a built a company and sold it to a public company a few years later. Despite the fact that he never had work again, his mind was always racing and he was starting another company. I become close with this person (who was 45 years my senior) and over the couple years we worked together I learned alot about business, life and living your dreams.

I wake up every day thinking about what I can accomplish to make something better for someone - my family, my coworkers, even my boss. That really leads to a sense of personal gratification when the day is done.
