What was your most bizarre interview experience like?

Coming out of college I interviewed for a Java developer position in Bellevue, WA. One of the guys they threw at me was himself a Java developer and he asked a question about the language that assumed something that wasn't true about Java. In order to answer the question I had to call him on his incorrect assumption. Maybe it was a setup to see if I'd say anything, but he sure wasn't happy when I did. Later someone else asked me a brain teaser that if you were 'analytically minded' (a desirable trait for the position) you'd have a hard time figuring out - this I was informed after I had got the right answer!... read more
