How would you describe your time at GVTC?
Network Operations Center Supervisor/Technician. Responsible for overseeing the monitoring and maintenance of GVTC's telephone, cable TV, DSL and fiber optic networks throughout their serving area. As a NOC technician, I developed most of shift procedures for GVTC's Network Operations Center.

How would you describe your time at Alaska Communications Systems?
Network Operations General Foreman. Responsible for overseeing the ACS statewide Network Operations Center (NOC) and the ACS Anchorage area switching centers. Prepare and insure compliance to budgets. Provide a communications conduit between upper Management and the Inside Plant/NOC work force. Develop plans for ongoing improvement of Inside Plant operations to meet company goals and provide the best customer service possible. Provide an environment conducive to productivity and personal growth. Demonstrate affective leadership. Worked on transition team during the purchase of ATU by ACS in late 1999....

How would you describe your time at Alaska Communications Systems?
Network Operations Foreman. Supervise the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Wire Centers by insuring proper manpower, equipment and required supplies are readily available. Coordinate with Engineering, OSP, IT and other departments to determine present and future requirements for ATU's network. Assist in the ongoing development of the NetExpert system for the NOC. Coordinate and schedule training for all NOC personnel. Create a productive working environment by providing fair and consistent leadership....

The NOCC was responsible for the remote surveillance and control of a wide spread telephone network to include all of Alaska and sites in Russia, Saudi Arabia, Antarctica and the continental United States....
