How would you describe your time at The Boeing Company?

Presently I assemble wire harnesses for the F-18 program. Coordinate / communicate with support personnel including Production Control / Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Management, I.P.T. (Integrated Product Team), Manufacturing Operations Analyst, Suppliers, Quality, Tooling, and other manufacturing personnel to ensure that the product is assembled in a timely, efficient manner that adheres to all applicable procedures, processes and standards applicable to the production cycle. Assist with identification of current and potential bottlenecks to help ensure timeliness of contractual deliveries. Process improvements included: 1) Helped with the implementation / coordination of relocating required materials needed for production harnesses / Point of Use. 2) Helped organize / coordinate the movement of the test boards to bring them to Point of Use on the shop floor. 3) Coordinate with Management, IPT, Program Management, and Supply Chain Management to ensure that all scheduled items are completed to follow the customers' needs utilizing Kan Ban, which also helps to reduce WIP. I have had to utilize my problem solving skills when a variety of issues became present throughout the different programs. I have assembly experience in the following programs: F-18, F-15, T-45, AV8, C-17, KC-135, MD10, B1B, and Commercial. In these programs I have experience reading and interpreting blue prints / Engineering drawings, Engineering Orders, DPS, Tooling requirements, Manufacturing Bills of Material, Change Incorporations, First Article Inspections (FAI's), Stamp Control issues, EPAR's, and other specifications and processes required to build the product.
