How would you describe your time at Basel Action Network (BAN)?
BAN introduced me to the crisis of electronic waste and its exportation to developing countries under the guise of recycling. Also I gained strong qualitative research skills interviewing 25 18-30 year olds about how/where they get their news and created a recommendation report for launching/promoting a consumer resource website to offer information regarding more sustainable computers, efficient electronic use, and legitimate electronics recycling. The process introduced me to the crucial approach of social marketing to sustainability activism....
