Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

My last boss at AutoExtra.com - he was very keen and focussed on helping all of his staff reach the next level in their own lives even more so than on the development of his business unit. He taught me to be patient and to wait for the right opportunity to insert my 'wisdom'!
