How would you describe your time at trugreen chemlawn?

New in California, I hired into an unfamiliar industry without the benefit of product sales training. Within two months, I was the top salesman in the branch. Four months later I became the leading salesman in the eight state western region. In the three months following, competing against a 44,000 + man national sales force, I became the top producer in the United States; a position that I held an unprecedented three months in a row and four times in total. I was promoted to Branch Marketing Manager in November 1996.

Responsible for establishment and attainment of the annual branch sales quota. I, recruited, hired, trained, and supervised all other sales people at the branch level. Aside from reducing operational costs and increasing our San Diego Sales, pushing us to first time profitability, I was also assigned regional responsibilities as a troubleshooter for branch locations falling short of their sales goals. Utilizing programs proven successful in San Diego, I was able to significantly improve the bottom line profits and in all cases was able to raise the performance level beyond established budgetary goals in three other branch locations.
