Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?
I think the most influential person would have been my manager at Bank of America GCIB, Mr. Joel Schwalbe. Joel taught me not to say no. So, neither I, nor my team, never say no to requests. We respond with a more comprehensive answer of several options, the cost of each option and how long each option will take to implement. Let's face it, networking and information security are dry and tedious topics that most people would rather avoid, and people making budgetary decisions are much better off having clear and concise choices, with known costs up front, without having to wade through a sea of techno-babble....
