Lone designer and developer contracted by Sebesta Enterprises of Boston, MA for www.YouHaveNotChangedOneBit.com ( January 2007 to present ) to architect and produce a social networking application for reunions ( currently in beta testing phase ). Features included a matching game with asynchronous server calls (AJAX), payment processing via PayPal Payments Pro, subscriptions, automatic thumbnail generation and saving to Amazon???s S3 service via a background process. Prepped and deployed staging and production servers, using Git for source code version management and Capistrano for automated deployments. Based on user feedback, added/revised features and deployed to staging and production servers....

Spearheaded pitch for Allied Domecq's entire brandy portfolio (Fundador, Carlos I, Don Pedro), the first major win for the agency.

Managed daily operations of a 14-person full-service advertising agency. Pitched and won national accounts for retail, finance and consumer brands.
Handled event management services for the Global Forum of Women Political Leaders, Manila, Philippines, January 17-19, 2000. The Global Forum of Women Political Leaders was the first of its kind, bringing together women involved in political activities, from presidents and prime ministers to grassroots political leaders and activists. The Forum was a preparatory forum for the B+5 and focused on women in power and decision-making which is one of the critical areas of concern in the Beijing Platform for Action.
As a complete newbie, learned graphic design and the necessary toolset (Photoshop, PageMaker, etc), as well as printing theory and technologies (hi-res scanning, color corection, final art production, color separation, final printing, finishing).
Built up the company to include national retail, food, transportation and hotel brands....
