San Francisco - I love it. There are so many interesting and fascinating places in San Francisco! I love the feeling of being so closely involved in the technology scene, with so many innovations being made here. It's really exciting!

Also San Francisco reminds me of Wellington, my hometown in
New Zealand. It has the same creative and easy-going vibe, just larger and more vibrant.... read more

Filed every bit of information outgoing or incoming in both hard copy and electronically for Gas and later Electricity teams. Completely reorganized a huge jumble of files into easily-found folders with intuitive index to track.
Reduced and cleared six-month backlog of unsorted information.
Supported first 4 and later 6 staff members. Put copy up on website. Wrote first process manual for role as well as introductory/ explanatory information for new staff members. Data entry and entry-level accounting/ quality assurance. Other administrative work as required such as ensuring Commissioners received important papers before meetings.

(And when I had some free time, ran up to Communications department and did a bit of media analysis for them to keep my skills up.)
