The project team operated in a 100% Agile environment which resulted in the primary tasks under this role included writing Acceptance Test documents which capture functional, operational and test requirements; worked closely with the development team clarifying requirements and completing testing. Served as a Functional Data Conversion Analyst on a virtual project to implement PeopleSoft Student Administration, primary module area was Student Records. Data Conversion worked as a team on all SA modules - Admissions, Student Records, Student Financials and Financial Aid - resulting in shared knowledge of conversion requirements, data structures, and module basics. Tasks under this role included providing impact analysis and input for various conversion approaches considered (including the communication/documentation of pro's and con's to various suggested conversion approaches); performing general conversion analysis and conversion documentation (providing specs and mapping documents) to support the conversion effort from various legacy and other source systems into PeopleSoft, as well as analyzing and maintaining data quality and integrity. This included both PeopleSoft and source system analysis. It also included understanding the customizations applied for the client as well as the vanilla processes in PeopleSoft; performing conversion-related coordination efforts. Served as Integration System Test Manager for the Data Warehouse Organization for major projects identified as Odyssey II, one example project would be the upgrade of the Customer Relationship Management application from Siebel 6.3 to Siebel 7.5. Tasks under this role included managing environment setup and support for up to four overlapping test environments; managing testing activities to internal as well as program level schedules; managing draft review and finalization of test plans/test cases.

Served as Release Analyst for the Data Warehouse Organization for major projects identified as Odyssey II, as well as day-to-day operational needs. Tasks under this role include all aspects of change control including creation of change request in Remedy Change Control, presentation of change requests to National Data Center Operations team and National Change Management team, preparation of Short Interval Schedule for implementation, and participation in deployment meetings; acting as point of contact for the Production Support Team to coordinate resolution of production performance issues; coordinating development and testing for major system software upgrades (i.e. Teradata version upgrades); identifying and coordinating resolution of hardware needs (i.e. storage or performance); review and feasibility of new functionality required of the data warehouse, completing design and functional documentation, completing data flow diagrams, system flow diagrams, etc.

Served as a Business/Functional Analyst for the Data Warehouse and Customer Based Marketing Organizations. Tasks under this role included identifying and documenting client requirements pertaining to client systems and forming partnerships with appropriate IT departments and with clients to achieve their project. Examples might include managing business and system issues during the development life cycle, implementation, and post implementation process, present and explain business and functional design concepts to various audiences, conduct and attend design review sessions to ensure the quality of the design, provide subject matter expert support, etc.
