How would you describe your time at Whole Foods Market?
Working in retail was a whole new experience for me. I had to learn to do my very best, and present myself positively even when customers didn't do the same. While at Whole Foods I participated in every opportunity given to me, outside of my general set of work requirements. I overcame negative adversity from a manager who cared more about numbers than employees, and I always communicated the positives and negatives from my department to store leadership and the right people, in order to maintain a confident successful atmosphere within the bakery....

How would you describe your time at First Choice Child Care?
This position has been my life for the past four years. I have gained confidence, skills, and an emotional level of caring that I never knew I would be capable of having. Working with this family has taught me to work through my fears of medical problems and social stigmatas, in order to further my success and others at life and happiness. The child with whom I worked has multiple disabilities including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, two brain injuries, cortical vision impairment, deaf-blindness, and hypoglycemia. But she remains completely optimistic and has shown me how to be oblivious to life's woes. I have held her hand through painful medical procedures, watched her drift in and out of consciousness, worked with her mobility skills, helped her to learn letters numbers and colors, and basically lived as a member of her family for four years. I dread the day when I will have to leave this family but I know that I will never forget them and I am a better person for it....

How would you describe your time at outback steakhouse?
This position was a typical restaurant host who presents the restaurant as a positive place for customers to sit and eat, as well as encourages them to return for future outings. When I began this job, the restaurant was brand new, and we as a team had to entice people to come in out of the cold, even for free meals, to further the marketing of our restaurant. It was shakey in the beginning, but over time, we gained notoriety and became a popular hang-out for pro sports teams, as well as local news women and men....

How would you describe your time at Ellie Leinart's Piano Lessons?
I started my piano business at 12 years-old, because I was an entrepreneur and wanted my own funds. I was very independent, and by teaching piano, and mowing lawns, I was able to buy what I needed for myself, without asking my parents. I loved teaching piano and had students that ranged from six years-old to fifty-five years-old and even held a few recitals over the years. I would love to return to teaching piano when I have a house of my own. It is one of the most fulfilling jobs I've ever had, and it verified to myself, my worth and independence....

How would you describe your time at Gonzaga University?
I spent one year at Gonzaga University taking as many classes as I possibly could. While, overall, I didn't feel like this was where I wanted to complete my college career, I maintained high grades, and actively participated in student activities while on campus.

How would you describe your time at Port Angeles High School?
While at PAHS, I was a 4.0 student active in local clubs, three choirs, the dance team, and loved to speak French. I participated in 16 hours of dance each week outside of school, as well as Port Angeles Children's Theatre, Sequim Community Playhouse, and the Port Angeles Light Opera. I received a 31 on my ACT test, 1330 on my SAT's, and was a National Merit Commemmorative Scholar....
