Monitor and operate Interactive Television systems, communicate with other technicians to repair component and/or signal path problems as they arise, set-up ITV equipment for occasional meetings, act as eyes and ears for off-site instructor during regular class time and exams, utilize inter-campus mail system to distribute hand outs to and from instructors, communicate with instructors and students within individual classes to make ITV classes as close to "real class setting" as possible....

Customer oriented equipment checkouts to students and staff members. Duplicated video Tele-courses, language course audio tapes, involved in graphic arts dept. duties such as laminating, sign making, color photo-copying and manipulation of images using Adobe Photoshop. Operated front counter and telephone in order to answer customers' questions, and, in the event that the answer was unknown, fielded questions to the appropriate supervisor or technician who did know the answer....

How would you describe your time at Olympic College,Bremerton Wa.?
I learned how different media work, how they can be inter-connected, and how a person or company can use them to their advantage. I also fine-tuned my existing communication skills, gained experience in leadership, public speaking, and deadline management. Specifically, I learned how to make story boards to illustrate an idea and keep it on track, how to use varying software to manage differing media, how to work with people in a solution-based way to provide solutions to problems....
