How would you describe your time at Albemarle Public Schools?
I am a detail oriented self-starter with strong verbal and written abilities which I have enhanced as a classroom teacher over the past six years. My previous supervisors will tell you that I have a strong desire to learn and always maintain a high work ethic. As you will notice on my resume my experience in museums is varied and wide-ranging.
Power point presentations, united streaming video and online resources and projects are an everyday part of my curriculum. The integration of technology in my lessons allow the production of images and illustrations, and offers the students a rich array of resources combining graphics, video, motion and up to the moment information related to such subjects as the stock market or legislative voting....

Directed daily aspects of incoming and outgoing loans of artifacts including loan processing,
renewal, condition reporting of artifacts, insurance, customs and billing.
Aided curators in the housing, conservation, and academic research of the collections.
Interacted closely with senior staff at borrowing institutions with respect to artifact handling, insurance, shipping and packing, both domestic and internationally.
Responsible for the daily management of 2 to 4 student employees....
