What's your dream job?

Definitely a job that does not tie me to any geographical boundaries. I want to be able to travel, whenever, wherever, without notice and still be able to do my job.

How would you describe your time at VSU SIFE Business Bites?

Managing what feels like my own business has been one of the most challenging things that I have put myself through so far. The fact that I am fully staffed with volunteers just adds to the challenge :). When I took over the business it was a plain hot dog cart, in little over 3 months, I have turned it around, increased revenues and profits. I am currently changing the concept of the business to be a healthier, better kind of genuinely "good food" place.... read more

How would you describe your time at Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity?

Starting a Fraternity Chapter is nothing like joining one already started. First, it is important to understand the degree of recognition and the legacy left behind to the school. Second, it takes a lot of diplomacy and self discipline to actually stick with it to the end to make things happen. So far, it has been a challenging experience and the Colony has accomplished quite a few good things. It will take more work to get to where we want right now. For the meantime, I will keep dedicating myself to keeping the brothers together and in the same page while injecting a bit of imagination, creativity and confidence in the group as a whole.... read more

How would you describe your time at valdosta state university?

Working at the VSU Housing Department as a Resident Assistant is no easy cookie. It is a job that requires a lot of the human element as well as knowing when to bend before breaking. It has required lots of patience at times, and mostly lots of understanding. One of the best parts of the job is the feeling of fulfillment once the residents understand and learn to appreciate my job, and the reason why I'm there. The sad part, is that residents generally understand this when they are in trouble...... read more

How would you describe your time at Society of International St...?

If you were to ask any foreign student at VSU what is SIS to me, they will say, "Its his baby". SIS was a rundown, little club with little to say or do 2 years ago when I jumped on the boat as the Assistant Secretary. The same year, I joined other student organizations and learned how to handle the ropes at the school. Today, SIS is one of the biggest and recognized student organizations not only at VSU but in the Valdosta/Lowndes community. Hosting each year its reknown "International Dinner" and the all new "International Education Week" SIS has been put on the map both community and financially. One of my biggest projects with SIS was aquiring funds from the school to host activities. SIS also has other revenue projects which form its cash account. This cash account is my goal and the part I am interested in the most. SIS's long term goal is to put this "cash" funds in a trust that will provide scholarships for international and american students as well to go study abroad with programs approved by the University System of Georgia.... read more

How would you describe your time at Student Government Association?

Being in SGA has been one of the most fulfilling things I have done while I have been at VSU. I have learned how everything works at the school and I have met a lot of important and influential people around me. I enjoy being in SGA because it is my chance to find something that needs improvement and actually do something about it. My projects for a near future are improving the timeliness of the school shuttle system, adding atomic time clocks to the bus stops, increasing security on campus, and oversee that parking fines are applied FAIRLY.... read more
