How would you describe your time at MOVE, Scandinavian cross-cu...?
Exciting and challenging! I was largely involved in the upstart of the project, and today, as the project has received grants and has taken off, my involvement is freelance consulting on a more ad hoc level, and mainly online. As an independent nonprofit initiative, started up by a number of artists from Scandinavia, Russia and Ukraine, the project needed a business manager, especially at the initial stage, and I took the part. After a series of brainstorming meetings, held in Stockholm, I have developed a project proposal, encompassing project objectives, mission, strategy and methodology, and later, in collaboration with the project leader, a project action plan was designed. Further on I have been actively involved in the assessment of fundraising opportunities and in the process of applying for funds, consulting in connection with formulation of fundraising proposals, project progress evaluation and communication with the external stakeholders, specifically in Denmark, Russia and Ukraine. I have also been involved in the strategic marketing and promotion of the project, developing a number of interactive solutions for the project???s web-page. Although on a micro-scale level, I have obtained a valuable, hands-on experience of project management and administration in the challenging settings of a nonprofit multicultural art initiative where my people skills, strategic mode of thinking, my curiosity and openness towards learning new things proved to be among my key professional qualifications....
