What advice do you have for someone who wants a job like yours?
The key to successful database marketing is the desire to produce programs that provide real value from the customer's perspective. This may occasionally mean respectfully disagreeing with others regarding the value of proposed programs designed to drive incremental short term behavior at the expense of long term value. To actually DO database marketing it is imperative your organization have the right systems, processes, and tools to design, execute, measure, and fine tune your programs in the most automated environment possible....
