How would you describe your time at Microsoft?
Built Market Intelligence, Competitive Intelligence, Technology Intelligence and Customer Intelligence. In charge of writing sections of overall MS Office plans and requirements. Worked with product team to implement them.
* Performed strategic analysis of the very volatile Business Intelligence (BI) competitive landscape. Launched and conducted qualitative and quantitative research. Managed vendors. Co-authored the value proposition and influenced the specification of a new server product that ended up being the second most valued investment for Office System.
* Turned around a stalled research project on needs for Innovation Management tools and made clear and specific recommendations through a white paper and presentation to the Office senior management in about 15 work days.
* Set up and led the first integrated overall intelligence gathering process for a sub division involving 30 people in 4 teams.
* Designed, set up and managed a 24-month customer engagement (advisory board) program with 12 large and medium enterprise customers that tripled the average number of customer interactions by Program Management.
* Set up and managed the largest, highest profile advisory board for the MS Office division. The Office Advisory Council, of 12 Senior IT Managers from Global 100 companies, helped shape and validate core Enterprise investment....

How would you describe your time at Microsoft?
Managed a group of 18 technical professionals, SPM???s ???(Subsidiary Program Managers) and 3 Leads across 20 countries in the Americas, Western and Central Europe. Hired, trained and mentored 4 new team members.
* Proposed, Set up and headed a project to improve the perceived quality of localized products for the European and American markets by increasing awareness andwriting guidelines for people in the localization groups. As a result,team was able to take on other, higher profile duties while quality kept improving.
* Directed the first consolidated European and American (outside US) markets requirement research across Office.
