How would you describe your time at Marchex?
During my time at Marchex, my duties and responsibilites included:
Successfully completed full implementation of HRIS system and managed full Payroll/HRIS integration process
Manage and administer all employee benefit plans ensuring all eligible employees are offered and enrolled in or terminated from applicable plans in a timely fashion.
Formally communicate benefit plans and options to employees during new employee orientation and open enrollment periods.
Respond to benefit related questions and inquires. Assist employees and dependents in resolving benefit issues to ensure internal customer satisfaction.
Audit monthly invoices and prepare payment requests for all medical, dental, life/disability and voluntary benefit policies.
Interface with insurance carriers/brokers as necessary to resolve claims, eligibility or billing issues.
Administer COBRA program ensuring all notices and payments are processed in a timely manner and in compliance with COBRA regulations.
Track and administer leave of absence programs including FMLA, disability and other leaves.
Manage and process employee change requests and notify appropriate parties of changes, transitions and separations.
Manage and maintain HRIS database ensuring accurate updating of information in a timely manner. Train managers and employees on usage of the HRIS database.
Ensure upload of employee data from HRIS to payroll system is accurate and enter or update additional information into payroll system as needed.
Work closely with the Payroll Administrator to ensure accurate employee data.
Create, maintain and run regular reports from HRIS and payroll systems for various uses.
Create and maintain various reports and spreadsheets as needed.
Assist in event planning and company-wide activities.
Assist employees and managers with People Services related policy and procedure questions as needed....
