Recently completed 3 month contract recruiting assignment for the Software Development Facility of a major services
provider. These were permanent technical positions in the .NET, C# and Java environments.

How would you describe your time at northern illinois university?

BS, Mathematics & Meteorology, 1969 — 1973 Initially interested in Meteorology but soon realized that I would prefer a career in software development after completing some programming courses. The only problem was that there was no CS major at the time - everything was in the Mathematics department. So I added a Mathematics major along with a minor in Computer Science. Ended up double-majoring in Mathematics and Meteorology and completed the program in four years. Was one of those "semi-commuter" students that NIU was famous for back then in the sense that I attended class during the week and would come home on the weekends to make a few bucks.
