I started working at Buffalo Wild Wings to make some extra money for college in 2005. At the restaurant, I worked the cashier for to-go orders, hosted/greeted customers, bussed tables, ran food, and occasionally waitressed.

How would you describe your time at Highlands Ranch Community A...?

I began my career at the Highlands Ranch Community Association as a junior lifeguard (because of age requirements); by the following summer I obtained my swim instructor and lifeguarding license. Within a year I became a private lessons instructor, and by 2005 I obtained my final position of On-Site Manager. The duties of my management position were supervising instructors and classes, assisting parents and other guests with questions pertaining to the swim lessons programs, updating swim curriculums, promotions for the program, scheduling, and occasional in-water instruction. At the University of Colorado at Denver, I am currently majoring in Communications and minoring in Astrophysics. I have taken classes for professional writing and speaking, and basic communication skills, as well as physics, calculus, and astronomy. How would you describe your time at University of Denver?

I entered the University of Denver because I was determined to attend the best school I was accepted at. Even with scholarships, the price was a rough price to pay on student loans! I decided to transfer out of the university due to a lack of physics department and steep tuition bills.
