How would you describe your time at Amazon.com?
Currently, I run payment issuance for Amazon globally, including the credit, gift certificates, gift cards, and stored value businesses. Taken as a whole, these businesses are focused on developing new payment methods, functionality, and features with an eye to improving how we relate to our wallets and the ways that we give and receive money. My teams design the features and benefits of the Amazon payment methods; establish partnerships to promote their use and increase their value; and build the customer-facing and back-end systems required to support the business. We are early adopters of Web services and Web 2.0 technologies, and are part of Amazon's Web services-based e-commerce platform.
Previously, I worked on Amazon's Web services initiative. AMZN is launching new businesses as an on-demand e-commerce and internet technology provider. My team was responsible for building out the technical infrastructure and developer/partner ecosystem around this initiative....

How would you describe your time at Sabbatical -- Central and S...?
After selling WebPutty, my wife and I spent a two year sabbatical living in Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Our time included work with a Nicaraguan non-profit, focused on marketing, fund raising, and business development.
