What kind of job are you looking for?
I am seeking a position to use the skill set and natural abilities that I possess as a software designer and developer in the Portland, OR area.
I have architected, designed and developed Oracle database systems for 10+ years using Oracle Designer and Developer (Forms and Reports) and PL/SQL as stored procedures, functions and packages. I have also designed and developed SAP R/3 reports for 4+ years and SAP BW systems for 1+ years. I have with MM, SD, FI and HR SAP modules.
I have been a software manager, designer and developer experienced in the creation of new applications and their support though their life-cycle. I have established a good reputation as a problem-solver, analyst and innovator while serving as a manager, lead and team player. Having a skill set that gives me a system view and module knowledge has produced successful projects using many development environments....

Software architect, lead, analyst and developer. Created major systems necessary to the management of company assets and products worldwide. Served as a technical bridge between the SAP and the Oracle systems within IT department.
* Updated and enhanced the Resource Management System using an Oracle database and PL/SQL packages that created dynamic HTML code to manage employee data.
* Designed and developed the COVAR system by leading, designing and developing to manage the product description repository and life-cycle promotion system used worldwide by our breeders, sales force, product managers and others. The system is implemented using an Oracle database systems using Oracle 9i, PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions, with Oracle Forms and Reports and Excel on the web. Oracle database software designer, analyst, developer and integrator. Technical lead for development team.
* Designed, developed and integrated an Oracle 7.0 RDBMS-based contract management system as part of a team. Interfaced with users and management to create the functional specification from which the development team implemented the system.
* Architected, designed and documented the Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) with two other leads, which was an expansion of CompassCONTRACT, the main WDS product. Technical lead with two others for a group of 30 software developers. Design was performed using Oracle Designer 2000 and the development using Oracle Developer 2000 (Forms and Reports).

Managed development team, designed and developed mission-critical software and acted as liaison with the customer.
* Built and managed a team of five to six developers and interfaced with the civil service personnel to deliver software system with necessary functionality ensuring the Mobile Sea Range (MSR) could perform their duties. Created the functional specification from which the team implemented the system.
* Architected, designed, developed, implemented and served as customer support of the US Navy's Strategic At-sea Display System (SADS) created to provide for safe open-ocean live fire naval operations.
* Provided strategic, analytic, operational and tactical information toward the best design.
* Successfully used the system prototype in an at-sea exercise less than three months from startup because of good planning, use of CS strategies and the leverage of the NEXTSTEP development environment.
* Developed system with Objective-C, enforcing an object-oriented design. The display system is used to plan a naval test scenario including: pre-exercise, exercise, and post-exercise functionality.
* Participated with team members in the support of MSR personnel as they deployed every four to six months for naval exercises.
* Implemented last-minute, admiral-driven functional requirements prior to commencement of the exercise meeting defined requirements....
