How would you describe your time at WERQ-FM 92.3 Radio One?

My job was to set up the sound system and the display for all live broadcast remotes. In doing so, I learned how to set up the Comrex Blue Box and the Comrex Access for all live broadcast remotes and promotional events. I have 4 years experience as a Mobile DJ. I am a Rane Serato User and I am ready to DJ at any given moment. My main focus at the station was to get on the production side and by doing some, I finally got to produce On Air Drops for Jeff "The Jammer" Daniels of Magic 95.9 FM... read more

I always thought the Radio Producers used Pro Tools but at this school I recieved hands on experience with Adobe Cool Edit, MP3DJ Broadcast 3.1, and OMT Imediatouch software. Production has always been my main focus but this school taught me all about Radio Automation and the basics of Broad Operations for a commerical Radio Station... read more

How would you describe your time at Community College of Baltim...?

I recieved hands on experience with DigiDesign Digi003, Mackie DXB 200, and Tascam US-2400. Our intstructors gave us one on one hands on training with Pro Tools, Sony Acid, Steinberg Cubase, and Steinberg Nuendo. Outside of class, I took my own time to get hands on experience with the Korg Triton, Roland Fantom, and Yamaha Motif. I always thought having a rack of sound modules was cool, but in this day and age we live in, you have to know everything there is to know about Reasons, Fruity Loops and computer music. We learned MIDI Production, Studio Engineering, Theory of Sound, and one of the students gave me a beginner's course in Piano Lessons (Minor)... read more

Don did a great job as an intern with our Street Team here at 92Q Jams in Baltimore! His skills on the turntables and his knowledge of the equipment proved to be a lifesaver during our College Tour this past fall. Don's enthusiasm and willingness to do whatever was needed to get the job done is an asset that you don't often find in someone his age. Don is the bomb!!!
