What's your dream job?

Working for a company that designs and builds boats (an/or ships). I have developed an interest in old wooden boats and ultra-modern composite hulls being designed for military applications, so both of those types of construction would be dream jobs. The Navy has the new "Sea Fighter" build by Nichols Brothers or the "Stiletto" by mshipco.com. I would love to work on one of those projects or on other concept projects for the military. Foss Maritime, Delta Marine, BEI/AEY (Bayview Edison Industries/American Expedition Yachts), and Nichols Brothers are all good examples of the type of company that I have an interested in working for in the future. I really find modern Yachts and Military ships very interesting and I think that my training and experience would allow me to perform well at any of these companies. Boat building is a dream job, but I expect it will take some time to find the right job in the marine industry. I am realistic about my goals and understand that I have plenty to offer other industries that use technology as a tool in their business.... read more
