Marine and Coastal Policy, Resource Economics Minor
How would you describe your time at University of Rhode Island ...?
I began my freshman year of college as a chemistry major, which allowed for me to have multiple courses in chemistry and biology. I wanted to have a more concentrated area of study, so I looked into and eventually pursued and obtained my Bachelor's degree in Marine and Coastal Policy. I took many courses about environmental management, policy, and law. Many of these courses dealt more specifically with coastal areas and bodies of water. I also took many resource economics classes. These courses taught me not only how the economy works but more importantly the value of natural resources within the economy. Having a wide variation of courses throughout my college career has proven to be very useful in my current position....
