Field Service Engineer
How would you describe your time at Machine Tool Systems?
Field Service Engineer responsible for on-site customer problems with
supported machinery. This equipment includes Okuma, Miyano, Tsugami,
Hwacheon. The controls are Okuma OSP and Fanuc. Responsible for repair
And troubleshooting as required to get customer supported equipment on
Line. Traveled as required to customer sites to perform these duties. Travel
out of town as needed. Used Laptop computer and required documents to
perform and record all service related functions. Worked over the phone as
needed to resolve issues if possible. Performed retrofits and complicated
additions to machinery to include all aspects of install and software. Tested
and verified all work according to equipment specifications. Performed
installs on new equipment and relocation and setup on existing equipment.
Involved directly with customer for resolution of issues....

Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of all plant machinery to include Lasers, Press Brakes, Mills, and Robotic Welding Systems. I have been to formal training within many of these areas as indicated in the below certifications

I was responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance on all production equipment and included CNC, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems. Performed complete CNC Lathe rebuilds to bed level. Served as Plant Maint. Supervisor and was responsible for all maint. issues in the facility. I also installed Powder Paint and Water Treatment systems....
