How would you describe your time at Merrill Lynch?
My short time at Merrill Lynch was a great one. While the company requires hard working individuals, the company works equally hard to make employees happy and well balanced outside the office. The following were some of the things I did at the company:
- Led group meetings to develop Web metrics requirement for each of Global Banking Group Web sites to integrate key performance indicators and goals.
- Created and presented report to upper management to explain Web analytics, and gained corporate approval for WebTrend as Global Banking Group???s new Web analytic tool package.
- Analyzed Web banner/Web analytics data and recommended changes (many implemented immediately) to improve both client experience and applications.
- Identified team banners for updating by analyzing and inventorying Cards.ML.com banners.
- Created implementation plan for WebTrends....

How would you describe your time at Dow Jones & Company?
Dow Jones is a leading new and content provider. The company treated its employees well. The following were some of my job duties:
- Analyzed trade data and researched market fluctuations from various contributors to ensure accurate calculations for the Dow Jones Electricity Prescheduled Indexes.
- Led small team in all energy indexes production and in timely client publication delivery.
- Published energy indexes on Dow Jones Newswires and troubleshot data inconsistencies.
- Processed data for long-term hardcopy storage and computer records for future audits.
- Consulted with clients on external data requests, generated index inquiries and served as a back-up contact for Alternative Indexes management.
- Aided in development of new indexes and maintaining current index methodologies.
- Researched industry classification for over 500 securities using SEC filings and internet searches for monetization of an existing historical data and news database.
- Collected Dow Jones Newswire news articles and handled daily news distribution to clients, choosing news articles for weekly Alternative Indexes Supplemental publication.
