How would you describe your time at new york university?

I have learned a lot in the Office of Student Activities here at NYU that has given me a "behind the scenes" perspective on student affairs and how program advisors work and what they do. I would really like to continue working in an environment similar to what I am in right now, where I would be able to lead groups of student organizations and provide support to other professional staff members, as well as create programs geared toward students in a school setting. I would also like to be involved in program planning and event coordinator careers in general.... read more

How would you describe your time at new york university?

My time as an RA here at NYU has been incredible. I have 36 residents I am in charge of and throughout the past semester and a half, it is my duty to make sure all my residents are having the best living experience possible. I am in charge of planning and executing various programs and events for the residents, working with my fellow RAs on larger events, providing support for all my residents, and creating a commmunity between my floors and a bridge between the residents and all the NYU resources that are available to them.... read more

How would you describe your time at new york university?

As an undergrad orientation leader, we were paired with an academic advisor and a co-UOL to welcome the incoming freshman class and lead a group of about 20 freshman through a 3-day session in which we advised, registered, and gave a brief overview of what is to be expected and experienced at NYU. We led 5 sessions total throughout the 2 month time span, and I was able to personally bond with a total of about 75 freshmen.... read more
