Created and improved the desktop architecture and deployment process for HP and Neoware thin clients utilizing Altiris Deployment Solution 6.9 and HP ezRemote Manager, allowing for central management (base image, patch, RC, re-image) of a uniform and secured desktop environment. ??? Investigated using Altiris DS to manage all desktops, CAD stations, and migrate TCs off ezRM. ??? Quickly troubleshot and resolved end user AD, terminal server, application, hardware, networking, and performance issues, most in less than 1 hour, while providing a 15 minute response time. ??? Successfully and resourcefully consolidated the Newport Beach office onto one floor relocating two networks and 23 servers, reducing the office size by 40,000 sqr ft in less than 6 months with no service disruptions. The consolidation also reduced excess printer capacity by 50%; the overall project was $200,000 under budget, and will have a projected annual savings of $1M per year. ???
