party applications for clients. Maintained and performed trouble shooting Windows and NetWare clients and networked printers and scanners. Performed LAN Administration including: adding and deleting users. Train users on software and equipment usage. Provide configuration and maintenance of enterprise backup functions, to include setup and verification of backup jobs, use of various types of tape library hardware, and the implementation of data backup and recovery policies. In addition, to being responsible for capacity planning and monitoring of Microsoft and Novell based Network Operating Systems.

Responsible for all aspects of 10-site wide area network. Design, specify, configure, install, and maintain wide and local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services such as personal computers, system software, software applications, printers, servers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling, and Internet service providers. Establish and maintain network users, user environment, directories, and security. Train users on software and equipment usage. Respond to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs. Develop and communicate standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers, and data. Communicates with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems. Consult with department managers to develop system solutions consistent with organizational objectives. Research and evaluate new technologies. Help in the negotiation of contracts with and coordinates activities of hardware, software, telecommunications, support, and training vendors. Install and test software upgrades. Collect and analyze network and memory utilization. Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures. Senior Systems Engineer

Responsible for all network design, implementation, administration and upgrade functions within SHERIKON???s 10 site multi-platform LAN/WAN environment. Maintains all aspects of WAN infrastructure which include determining line type, coordinating new line installs and upgrades, determining required bandwidths for all sites, connection outages, router and DSU/CSU configurations, Internet access, remote access, IP acquisition and addressing. Responsible for all fileserver installations and maintenance, monitoring, data redundancy, backup and recovery, security, GroupWise email infrastructure, NDS tree design and maintenance. Designed, implemented and upgraded 30+ Netware fileservers. Upgrade path was from Netware 4.11 to 5.0 and then 5.1. 15+ Windows NT 4.0 servers. Upgraded & maintained company wide e-mail infrastructure from GroupWise 4.1 to GroupWise 5.5, including Remote, SMTP, NIMS WebAccess gateways. Other responsibilities include anti virus updates company wide, hardware and software trouble shooting within a Win95-98, and NT environments, defining users, and security. Provide helpdesk support, maintain latest patch requirements for all systems software, support & research technical issues for off-site administrators.

Programmer/Analyst

Plan and develop the electronic forms using Informs 4.1 application. Develop flow charts of business processes to convert to electronic forms. Meet with department representatives to resolve related questions, such as project intent, and output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. Convert the material represented by the flow chart into application electronic forms using Informs application. Correct program errors by altering program steps and sequences and debug when necessary. Prepare written instructions and documentation of form???s development and operation for the end user.
