Myspace or Facebook (or neither)?

I do have a Myspace account just for fun. Looking around the Myspace environment is entertaining and sometimes useful. I check my account every few days and I really only have one friend who sends me fun bulletins. (Shameful not-so-secret...I love taking cheesey quizzes.) A visit has never been paid to Facebook. I'm sure it's fine. I just do not feel a need to have two of these accounts. Also, I must add that I am concerned about who children and teens can meet and what they can view on these accounts. However, I believe in the freedom of speech and think that adults in the home should not only utilize blocking devices and limit computer time, but also just talk to kids about the internet and what is out there. UPDATE...I have traded MySpace for an addiction to Facebook. I am amazed that I have been able to connect with so many people!... read more

Jessica volunteers with the MD SPCA. We do not know what we would do with out her. She helps with events, socializing the animals, and she takes pictures of the animals for out website so they can find homes faster. I know if I am in a jam; that I can count on her to help. She is a wonderful lady and would be a great asset to any organization. Sincerely, Katie Flory Volunteer Manager

Jessica is very intelligent and creative. Her talents in writing and the visual arts are limitless. She has a compassionate and gentle soul, as I have seen demonstrated in her volunteer work.
