How would you describe your time at Anderson Family YMCA?

It's been great! I instruct a SilverSneakers chair aerobics fitness class for senior citizens for an hour twice a week. The experience has been fun and rewarding. I have been trained by the SilverSneakers program to do SilverSneakers Range of Motion classes and SilverSneakers Cardio II classes. I have also been trained by the YMCA in basic group exercise, basic aerobics and step, Exerband, and Exerball. Good. I filed progress notes and other documents into client files. Confidentiality was a must and was strictly honored. I worked fast and accurately. As with anything I pursue, I was dedicated to doing my very best.

Great! I worked in an emergency shelter care facility for abused and neglected children, ages 6-17. I love working with children and this job was satisfying and fulfilling. I managed a caseload of about six children and developed and implemented behavior contracts and progress plans for their daily living needs. I planned and implemented recreational activities, structured time for studies and chores, daily living skills, medication administration, and other physical and/or behavior needs.
