I am looking for a position where I can connect closely with others and be of assistance on a personal level.
For the last 10 ?? years I was with Hoffman Mint as a customer service specialist. Hoffman Mint is a manufacturer of tokens for arcades and car washes, coins, key tags, medallions, and calendar medals. Hoffman Mint was chosen to produce President Clinton???s first inaugural medallion and coins for President Bush???s Library. Sadly Hoffman Mint was purchased by a Florida company in 2006 and moved to their location in 2007.
I processed orders by phone, fax and mail. Orders were both reorders and new customers including custom orders. Orders would range in cost from $100 to over $100,000 depending on quantity, size, and custom artwork for some. We carried stock tokens for arcades, car washes, etc. to custom orders for .999 silver medals.
I worked with customers throughout the US, Canada, Mexico (No, I do not speak Spanish though I wish I did.), Europe, Israel and Australia.
Custom orders included pricing for quantity, size, metal content, art work, shipping, and ETA. I worked closely with the customer to achieve the product they needed including making sure the size and metal content were correct and that their artwork was replicated as close as possible to artwork submitted. This was a very creative occupation working with customers to produce a product to their satisfaction. I had many customers that would only place their orders with me.
