How would you describe your time at openwave systems?
* Leading and managing team of seven account executives and systems engineers, meeting and exceeding individual and team quotas. 138% of goal in CY 2006 and sold first new Openwave business into T-Mobile USA in over five years. Responsible for quota setting, performance management, hiring and firing.
* Engaging in business development and sales activities across the customer organization though variety of levels (Director, CXO) and responsibilities (engineering, operations, business development, and product development.)
* Managing a large portfolio of complex products, from location gateways to messaging infrastructure to converged communication services. Targeting specific solutions to fit customer needs, building long term customer partnerships and driving additional business.
* Creating account team and strategy for Openwave's entrance into the new market of Mobile Virtual Operator's (MVNO) in North America. Developing targeted offerings for this category with the product group, creating business cases and business models for pricing and placement.
* Selected for Openwave's Leaders (OWL) program in 2006. Only 20 employees globally out of 1400 are selected per year for this specialized training program....
