How would you describe your time at lowes?

* Presently, at Lowes I am a customer service associate. I was the top seller in my department for three straight months. I receive and move a variety of parts, components, assemblies of mowers, grills, and swing sets into and out of the storage area/stock room to the sales floor. I prepare and move items in an accurate and prompt manner. I have assembled some items. I store items by UPC code numbers. I special order items, and cross reference information for customers. I routinely check special order items to ensure items ordered and documents correspond. I move items to their destination within the store in an accurate and prompt manner. I assembly items and deliver them to the proper location. I properly label and identify shelves and racks. I store items on shelves and racks, storing them by UPC codes. I routinely prepare accurate and complete record of daily actions, and ensure documentation is signed in a timely manner. I verify items received by customers and sign receipts. I cross reference information on various parts. I operate the LPG forklift, and the electric in-store forklift (sidewinder), electric cherry picker, electric pallet jack and regular pallet jack. I have received operating and safety training on the items previously mentioned. I comply with all safety rules, procedures, and practices for operating power equipment. I perform work in a manner that better the safety of the work area, an obey OSHA and safety regulations. I do everything possible to maintain the safety of the customers. I effectively and safely operate the fork lifts controls to avoid overloading or improper stacking or movement of supplies and materials. I safely load, unload and place boxes and materials to its proper location. I keep the vehicles that I operate in good appearance and assure its condition for periodic inspections. The forklifts I operate are capable of lifting loads weighing less than 10,000 pounds to a height of at least 168 inches. I drive the forklifts through narrow aisles in the building routinely using spotters and in as safe a manner as possible. I also drive the vehicle outside on occasion. I consistently operate all vehicles in a safe manner at all times. I strictly adhere to safety and security procedures and report any observed violations to my supervisor. Also, I replenish and stock inventory. I appropriately wear and maintain the required safety equipment (harnesses, etc), and promptly ensure all material are properly stored and put away. I am always aware of my environment (height, width, length, and weight of vehicle) in order to judge overhead and side clearance, turning radius, braking distance, and to maintain a safe distance from other vehicles

* Worked in 100th Air Refueling Wing bench stock, checking tools and equipment in and out to personnel, helped move shop equipment, monitored rag control program, performed stocking and inventory of parts/hardware duties. I complied with all hazardous waste disposal procedures and general safety procedures associated with aircraft maintenance. I am familiar and understand the importance of rag and tool control programs and the FOD program. I am mechanically inclined, and I am a very quick learner. I have started my private pilot's license (68 flying hours), so I understand the importance of the programs associated aircraft maintenance and the importance of getting an air worthy aircraft back to the owner. I have an understanding of red "X" and red "/" discrepancies. I understand the theory of flight--operation of rudders, ailerons, elevators and the associated trim systems.
