What is the most exciting thing you plan to do this summer?
My objective for the summer is to complete the distance learning Equine Massage Certification. I also hope to find employment with a Veterinary Hospital or Equine Rehabilitation Center where I can use my skills and education. I enjoy all aspects of Veterinary Medicine, you could say it is my passion!! I am also becoming a huge fan of Equine massage and hope to use my certification as well as my vet tech degree to improve the lives of all the animals I come in contact with....

How would you describe your time at Farmer's Veterinary Clinic?
Duties included scheduling patients for appointments and surgery, physical exams, administration of medication and vaccines, prepping patients for surgery, assisting in surgery, inducing and monitoring anesthesia during surgery, dental cleanings, sterilizing surgical packs, helping with clients.

How would you describe your time at Aspen Equine Studies Distan...?
I have only begun the distance learning program for Equine Massage Therapy Certification but I love it! With my vet tech education, the anatomy and physiology portion is a breeze. The application and tecniques portion is great, I am learning all the aspects and health benefits of equine massage especially post surgery or post injury. Equine massage is also very beneficial during any type of Equine rehabilitation. I am so excited to complete the program! :)...

The MSU Vet Tech program works much like any other operating vet clinic and all that entails. The MSU clinic allowed me to learn and gain experience all at the same time.
