I joined as an AdWords Representative. AdWords is a Pay Per Click (PPC) program of advertising on Google. When a user Googles, ads appear on the right hand side of the Google Search page on keywords / key phrases that they choose.
As an Adwords Representative, I assisted in the management of online advertising accounts and in delivering targeted and effective on-line advertising. We have Google AdWords' policies which we have to master (like product, editorial and link policies) and thoroughly check ad content, quality, and accuracy. When the advertisers submit there ads, we approve or disapprove new and changed ad submissions based on policy guidelines.
In this process, based on my performance, I was trained in reviewing different types of online ads, such as text ads, mobiles ads, image ads, and video ads.
Email Support
After successfully completing six months as an ad-approver, I was trained for email support to provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers.
My primary responsibilities as an Emailer:
1. Troubleshoot advertiser issue
2. Understand the advertiser's questions and answer them by making complex ideas simple and easy to understand by the advertiser
3. Customer Focus and product knowledge - understand the product and troubleshoot the account and diagnose the problem effectively
4. Proactively give account optimization suggestions
5. Meet the Turn Around Time (TAT) for all the advertisers' questions.
Key Accomplishments:
Productivity : Closing almost 20-25 emails per day
Email Quality: Over all 'Meets expectations' with 'Exceed Expectation' in Customer focus.
Helped the new Emailers in the team with the issues like understanding the advertiser's question and how to troubleshoot the advertiser's account.
Worked with team lead to manage the workflow by effectively communicating with the team members.
Successfully built a good rapport with all the new hires and colleagues in the team.
Was trained for additional responsibilities such as working with the dedicated support teams in other Google offices to help the advertisers.
Actively participated and organized the team activities such as quarterly team offsites and team dinners.

Recently, I graduated to handle big spenders' accounts with us and help optimize their keyword lists and ads to maximize advertisers' ROI. My job title has changed from AdWords Represntative to Account Optimization Representative.
My primary responsibility as an Account Optimization Representative is to analyze and optimize online advertising campaigns.
Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with my team to improve account performance for new and existing offline customers.
* Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to maximize client campaign results.
* Build relevant, targeted campaigns and create/edit ads for client advertising campaigns.
