Excellent experience at this company. I was the Employment Specialist for a Minority MBA Finance Fellowship Program. Acting as the recruiting liason between the students, alumni and finance companies throughout the country. I provided daily support and guidance to the Fellows and Alumni to assist with job search and future career development. I was responsible for the job bank, posting jobs, sourcing the right candidates in our program and presenting them to the firms. Organized the annual Career Fair, assisted with career counseling and provided career coaches where needed....

How would you describe your time at MacFarlane Partners?
I greatly enjoyed this experience. I was a contract recruiter at this lead real estate investment management firm and got to recruit on the corporate side, which I love. I was responsible for filling a variety of different roles from Managerial position to Accounting, as well as temporary and summer intern positions. I saw the process thru from start to finish, from posting to sourcing, screening, interviewing and seeing it thru until the hiring process....

How would you describe your time at Career Group?
It was great exposure to the agency side of recruiting. I located, evaluated and placed administrative candidates for corporate clients. It involved making cold calls all day to build up a client base, as well as interviewing numerous candidates each day via phone and in person. In retrospect I realize I enjoy the corporate side of recruiting more, as it has less of a "salesy" feeling to it and I greatly enjoy sourcing candidates, which is the nuts and bolts of corporate recruiting. With Corporate Recruiting you work for your one client and get to provide the best candidate pool available to them....

Assisted with all administrative matters, in addition to being the Mailing Coordinator for all financial mailings and assisting with the annual LP dinner and planning annual holiday party....
