* Responsible for the Information Technology Organization for both domestic and foreign operations. Responsibilities include the IT infrastructure, software development, international network, equipment acquisitions, maintenance, and security.
* Responsible for developing innovative business
solutions and integrating them with legacy systems.
* Developed a Business Continuity Plan for the IT infrastructure and applications.
* Managed the team responsible for the ERP system, which supports both domestic and international production plants. Hoover had 5 domestic and 5 foreign plants.
* Managed the financial and reporting systems running on an ISeries server.
* Implemented an internal helpdesk strategy using Numara TrackIt software.
* Managed the implementation of Salesforce.com for sales force automation.
* Implementing a new email system based on Microsoft Exchange 2007, which included redundancy and failover. The implementation included Microsoft Mobile 5 smart phones.
* Responsible for management of the Hoover's domestic and international network and all communications projects including wireless communication.
* Implemented security for the Hoover Network using Active Directory. The project also included centralized back up process, centralized virus protection, file sharing, and internet monitoring.
