Advice that I would give to a new employee is that the learning curve can be steep and there are diverse people that you will have to work with but if you work hard, don't take anything personal unless it is, are flexible, and have a good attitude then you will succeed and advance at HPD. Also, networking and getting along with your coworkers is key if you expect to get promoted. You don't always have to like your coworkers or be their best friend but you must be able to work with them in order to get the job or task done. Another thing is that you have to have a sense of humor especially with working with the people at HPD....
